Give Em’ Jesus
Give Em’ Jesus is a faith-based nonprofit ministry based in Ruston, Louisiana, with one main goal—to share the love and hope of Jesus with as many people as possible. They do this in many ways, like sending free Bibles to anyone who asks, helping people during disasters, and supporting those in need with supplies, vehicles, and encouragement. Their heart is to remind the world that what people need most isn’t fancy programs or complicated answers—it’s simply Jesus. Whether they’re serving locally or reaching across the world, Give Em’ Jesus exists to show God’s love in real, practical ways and to point every person they meet back to Him.
Compel Outreach
Compel Outreach International is a non-profit Christian missions organization that works to share the love of Jesus all around the world. They focus on evangelism, church planting, helping orphans, and supporting local pastors in places like Africa, Asia, and Central America. Every summer, my home church partners with Compel Outreach for a mission trip to Kenya. It’s an amazing experience where they get to serve communities, help with outreach events, and see firsthand how God is changing lives through their ministry.
Why we’re called to give:
As Christians, we’re called to give because it shows God’s love and reminds us that everything we have comes from Him. Giving isn’t just about money—it’s about sharing our time, resources, and kindness with others. The Bible says in 2 Corinthians 9:7, “Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.” God wants us to give out of joy, not because we have to. Jesus also said in Luke 6:38, “Give, and it will be given to you.” When we give, God blesses us in return—not always with things, but with peace, joy, and a stronger faith. Giving helps us trust God more and shows the world what His love looks like in action.

The Sound of Freedom Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to ending human trafficking and protecting children from exploitation. Their mission is built on the belief that every child deserves freedom, safety, and a chance to live without fear. The foundation focuses on rescuing victims, preventing trafficking through education and awareness, and supporting recovery programs for survivors. I really admire what they do because they don’t just talk about the problem—they take action to make a real difference. It’s inspiring to see people come together to fight for those who can’t fight for themselves.Child trafficking specifcally is one of the worst things in this world, and as said in The Sound Of Freedom, “God’s children are not for sale!”
